Professional Studies Report
Our new module in my Professional Studies lesson is to write a 2500 word report on our desired plans after we finish university in terms of careers and jobs. I'm feeling very inspired thinking about what I would like to do and can't wait to put it into practice! I am currently starting to develop a cupcake business specialising in alcoholic cupcakes that taste amazing (even if I say so myself!) I would like to continue to develop that and see where it takes me but also I am looking at starting my own online business for evening/party dresses which I will look into further.
Contextual Studies - The 1950's Housewife
I have just recently handed in my 3000 word essay for my Contextual Studies project at University. My essay was to discuss the backdrop of figure moulding underwear, suburban prettiness, and
advertisements that showed the housewife surrounded by consumer goods and how the 1950s
fashions placed women firmly back within the domestic environment. Through my research for the project i found out a lot of interesting things about the ideas society had of women and the hype about the image of a housewife. It was an extremely fascinating topic to write about and I feel like I did very well in that whole module.

Deadlines are over!
My deadline at University is over! I really enjoyed this project, this is a Prop that I made for the Mad Hatters Tea Party and it is a centre piece for the table.
I bought the tea cup from EBAY, it was just a plain white cup and saucer when I bought it but I used porcelain pens to add a decorative pattern inspired by William Morris's designs.
